Hi and thanks to everyone who came to Sagateatern and watched the fashionshows of KOSTYM. It was an incredible day!

Also a big thanks to all the models, hair and makeupteams and of course the people who arranged the entire project! Everyone was awesome!

Surprise!

That's right - I can actually push the limits and use other "colors" than black. White for example.

It's a big step for me for real! But I simply can't live without the black details, as well as the fake suedefabric.

But I'm quite proud of myselfe to have come this far!
The next step might be grey, who knows?

Patterned pants

It was love at first sight when I found this amazing fabric! After much shilly-shallying about what I should do with the masterpiece, I finally decided to make a pair of pants. Now I'm seriously considering to keep them myself. We'll see! But first, you all must get a chance to see them on the runway!

37.5 meter yarnsnake

For a few months I 've been experimenting with a kind of crochetmethod - an enjoyable activity between all the sewing that otherwise take all my time.

Anyway, two or three months is quite a long time. It means that the experiment gave me the whole
37.5 meters of a yarnsnake
that I now have squiggled into a scarf/loose collar/necklace-thing.

I just hope it's not so fond of hugging... I have heard that some snakes likes that, but how can I know?

Pocketparty

Yesterday I sat down and cut some fabric, and suddenly I was sitting there with a whole bunch of pockets. So I thought "What to do with all theese pocktes?". So this is what I did.

And to the pockets that did not participate and now is in the garbage - you made my day anyway! Thank you!

The project

For a cuple of months from now, I'll be working with a project for Umeå fashionweekend 2010. It means that I'm gonna create a clothingcollection that will appear in a fashionshow on the 23th of October. The location is SAGATEATERN in Umeå.
